One of my best collectors Kim bought three inventory pictures today. She has the uncanny ability to pick little sweethearts. Here is one below, Mother and Child from 1997, oil on board. Another collector several years ago asked for a canvas version of this, a bit cleaner. Kim liked the raw feeling of this and so do I. One never knows when a painting will sell. In the past week I’ve sold five inventory paintings as a result of my recent web blast. I’ll have a painting ten years and then pop, it will go. I’m working on the e-commerce element of my site. I have seen very few art gallery websites that are tastefully done. I’m trying to create a nice environment for my works and to emulate gallery walls.
