I am working on a new website that will be much better for my collectors.  The website will remember you favorite paintings, you will be able to buy paintings, prints and printed matter online.  Thanks for your patience as I work to make the web more interesting for my collectors and friends.

I painted St. Patrick’s this week, 60 x36 inches, acrylic on canvas.  The list on this is 4k for those interested.  I will put some people in the pews but I am happy with the motion and palette of this painting.  I painted the Florence Duomo (sold to a Bermuda collector) and 2 Santa Croce paintings (both sold.  I enjoy the power of church interiors.  Regardless of religious perspective churches are powerful and gorgeous structures.  I like to place a contemporary filter on a very traditional subject, so this series continues to attract me.

I have been light on posts but I continue to get the work done.  I hope you are enjoying the summer.  Here is a very light, breezy seascape study.  I like it for it’s speed and lack of finish - it has a nice feeling to it in different lights and feels like it is moving.

Below is my first lifesized Revolutionary Figure sculpture.  I laminated walnut and maple, turned the work on a lathe in seven sections then fused the sections together.  She’s a pretty girl, something that has been in my head for years.

I was commissioned to make some etchings this week and did a fire department work for the outfit I’ve been loyal to for 20 years.  I am finishing several paintings, I am working on a new sculpture and working on the business.  The new iphone came out and I am contemplating that, building the business system and thankful for my continuing support by people like you.
